The ionic exchange
resins process is based on the capacity of these
resins, to absorb and accumulate the ions
contained in highly diluted solutions; the ionic
exchange process is particularly recommended for
the processing of diluted solutions of metallic
salts.
A typical application is the introduction of the
discharge water of industries for processing and
finishing of metals, into a closed loop circuit.
The characteristics of the depurated water
supplied are constant and uniform, with high
quality standards (<30 mS): by washing the
metallic materials to process with
de-mineralized water you can avoid the deposit
of salt on the finished parts. In is important
to notice that the water consumption in this
case, is reduced and limited to the quantity of
water necessary to replace the losses for
evaporation and transport and that necessary for
the operation of resins re-generation.
The instruments for the measurement of electric
conductivity, have a display and warning
function. The depletion of the resins is
signaled by the increase of electric
conductivity. Once the limit values previously
set, have been reached. Warning lights and
acoustic signals are activated and the system
can automatically disengage the filters and
deviate the water flow to a backup plant placed
in parallel.
The plants can be supplied either according to
our standard production or according to the
specific needs of the customer. The can be
manufactured with modular elements or
pre-assembled and pre-tested “TURN-KEY” with
AISI 304 STAINLESS STEEL (on the base are placed
the electric control cabinet, the pneumatic
control cabinet, the pump, the flow controllers,
filters, pneumatic control units). |
